SBI PO is an examination held for recruiting Probationary Officers. It marks the Junior Management Level direct entry in the Bank for young graduates. Exam for SBI PO is conducted each year for appointing officers in the Bank.

paper pattern :

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

This is the first step of the SBI PO exam. It is an online objective test of 100 marks. It’s duration is 1 hour.

Phase II – Main Examination

Objective Test – The duration is of 2 hours and consists of 4 sections of 50 marks each.

Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
Test of Reasoning (High Level)

Descriptive Test – The duration is of 1 hour and is a test of English Language of 50 marks.

Give Equal Attention To All The Sections
All the sections are equally important and require equal attention and hard work. Don’t over do any section.

Make Notes
While studying from the book, keep writing down the points that you think are important. Making notes helps a lot during the revision.


Make Seperate Notebooks For Different Subjects
If you keep on writing in the same notebook about all the subjects, then at the end it will just become a pile of confusion.
