Chartered Accountants Common Proficiency Test is conducted by ICAI.
The exam consists of four sections.

Fundamentals of accounting,
Mercantile laws,
General economics,
Quantitative aptitude

Section A is of 60 marks, out of which student must score at least 18 marks.

Section B is of 40 marks, for which minimum marks is 12.

Section C and D are of 50 marks each, and candidate must score at least 15 in each. The CA CPT cut off marks is 100 for all candidates.
