B.A in Archeology and Museology, Post Graduate Diploma course in Museology and Conservation, Ph.D in Museology, etc are some of the courses in Museology.

Pass in 12th is the qualification required for B.A in Archeology and Museology where as Bachelor degree holders in any Arts subjects can apply for M.A Museology course.

Degree is the basic qualification required for PG diploma level courses. PG holders in Museology can look for admission in Ph.D courses via written test and interview.

Admission is offered either on the basis of the marks scored in the qualifying exam or the score in the written test.

Postgraduate Diploma in Museology/Museology and Conservation/ Museology and History of Indian Arts –

Candidates who have graduated from any recognized educational institution can seek admission to Post Graduate diploma in Museology.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya offers Postgraduate Diploma in Museology and Conservation as 1-year course.

Osmania University, Solapur University, Vikram University, etc offers Postgraduate Diploma in Museology and History of Indian Arts.
