The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA is a single window unified counselling conducted by the Anna University on behalf of the Higher Education Ministry, Tamilnadu for the Engineering seats in Government aided and self financing engineering colleges.

TNEA application forms will be issued immediately after the Tamil Nadu HSC/ +2 results.

The merit list will be prepared based on the cut-off marks from Higher Secondary Exam (HSE) subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

The students will be called based on the cut-off marks with TamilNadu Engineering cutoff Ranking

Based upon the applicants the merit list and ranking will be prepared.

The counselling call letter will be sent to the students applied for TamilNadu Engineering Admissions.

The counselling date and time slot will be intimated in the call letter.

The date will be based on the Overall rank or Community Rank of the student.

The counselling sessions will be carried out in Anna University, Chennai for all the students.

One parent/ Guardian and the student will be allowed inside the hall for select the College and Branch.

The students needs to analyse their Engineering colleges option available for their date and time of counselling in advance.

The student has to Select the Right Engineering Branch (Mech, Civil, CS, ECE, IT, EEE, BioTech etc.. ) on their preferred Engineering college.

Branch will be allotted during counselling based on the students preference and availability of seats on colleges.
