Re: Cost Of CAT Exam

CAT stands for Common Admission Test which is being conducted by IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) for MBA degree course.


Eligibility Criteria :
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) / Differently Abled (DA) category) awarded by any of the Universities

CAT Examination Consist of the Following Section :

Quantitative aptitude
Reading comprehension
Verbal ability
Data interpretation
Data sufficiency

Examination pattern :

Duration of the examination has been increased to 180 minutes instead of 170 minutes.

There will be three sections ,‘Quantitative Aptitude (QA)’, ‘Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)’ and Verbal and Reading Comprehens ion (VRC)’. QA and VRC will have 34 questions each, and DILR will have 32 questions
Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks.
An incorrect answer fetches -1.
No marks are given or deducted for un-attempted questions.

Cost of the Examination :

(General/NC-OBC) = Rs 1600
(SC/ST/PWD-DA).= Rs. 800
