According to me GATI (Government Aviation Training Institute) is the best government college of commercial pilot in India. GATI (Government Aviation Training Institute) was set up in 1946 to bring upgrading in the standards of flying and ground training of Commercial Pilots in the Country. Admission Procedure (CPL) CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) is the licence after which a person can fly commercially. Eligibility: The basic eligibility required is 10+2 with Physics and Maths from recognized school. Non Science students can apply to National Institute of Open School meet the requirements. Duration: 15-18 months Procedure: Step 1: Medical II (by DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) approved Doctor) Step 2: SPL Classes/Issue of SPL (6 Weeks); Medical I (at any of the 6 approved centers) DGCA Regulations require 350 hours of ground school 200 hrs of flying depending upon your performance you can complete the program in 15-18 months.
