Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will organize the entrance test of COMEDK UGET for admission in B.Tech degree programmes. One qualifying the test with minimum qualifying marks will be given admission in various engineering colleges located in the Karnataka State.

Eligibility Criteria

For Engineering Courses

One must have passed second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent exam from a recognized institute.

One must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject in the last two years.

The minimum marks required are 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State). Also, one must pass each of these subjects individually. Of the aforementioned three subjects, Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, but in place of Chemistry, the candidate may have Bio-Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

Diploma candidates are not eligible for the entrance exam, as there is no lateral admission scheme.


For UG Architecture Courses

Qualifying exam for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2

50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.

One should have qualified a recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2020.

No Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.

One, seeking admission to B. Arch course need to submit separate application form for counselling as per the notification on COMEDK website

No need to fill the online application form for engineering entrance exam.


COMEDK UGET Exam Pattern


Exam Date and Mode:
COMEDK UGET 2020 Entrance exam will be organized on 10th May 2020 in online CBT mode.

Number and Type of Questions:
There will be total of 180 multiple choice questions in the entrance exam.

Language Medium:
The question paper will be in English only.

Total Marks:
The exam paper will be of total 180 marks. Each section will be of 60 marks.

Time Duration:
Total time duration given to complete the exam will be of 3 hours.

Subjects:
The questions will be asked from the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Marking Scheme:
For each correct response, 1 mark will be awarded. Negative marking is not applicable.
