AS per your concern I will get details of Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka PG entrance exam, so that you can go through it easily. Eligibility The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to MS/MD/MDS is MBBS or BDS from the MCI/DCI recognized institution. One must have complete or be completing his/her internship. The qualifying marks set by the association for COMEDK PGET 2017 is 50% for general candidates and 40% for category candidates. Any state Indian citizen is eligible for COMEDK PGET 2017. The candidates must have permanent registration with the MCI/DCI or any state medical/dental council. Exam pattern Mode of Exam: COMEDK PGET 2017 is the computer based test. No of Questions: It will consisting of 180 objective type questions. Duration: The duration of the examination will be 3 hours (10 am to 1 pm). There will be a separate test for PG medical and PG dental courses. Marking Scheme: Each right answer contains one mark. Negative Marking: There is no provision of negative marking. Syllabus: The syllabus for the entrance examination will be of MBBS/BDS standard as prescribed by MCI/DCI. Sections: The question paper will consist of sections namely section I and section II. Exam pattern The scope of the syllabi for the Post Graduate Medical / Dental entrance test is based on the MBBS/BDS syllabus as prescribed by MCI/DCI respectively There will be one separate test for PG Medical and one separate test for PG Dental Courses. Each test will have 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) The time allotted for the COMEDK Entrance Test would be 180 minutes (3 hours); the COMEDK PGET entrance test will begin at 10.00 AM and end at 01.00 PM i) Candidates are required to mark their answers in an OMR Answer Sheet (Optical Mark Reader) ii) Each correct answer is awarded one mark iii) No Marks will be awarded for multiple making (marking multiple responses) of any questions iv) There will be no negative marking v) However, in the event of a tie in score the principle of least negative responses (number of wrong answer) will be adopt |
