COMEDK Entrance Exam Timings

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced that COMEDK 2016 entrance exam will be held on 8 May 2016.

Important dates of COMEDK 2016

Availability of COMEDK UGET 2016 online application form-March 2016 (first week)

Last date to apply April 2016 (third week)

Issue of admit card / hall ticket for COMEDK UGET-April 2016 (last week)

Date of entrance exam 8 May 2016

Declaration of COMEDK UGET 2016 result (test score)-May 2016 (last week)

COMEDK Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criterion of COMEDK 2016 is as follow:

1. For Engineering Course

In the last two years of 10+2/second PCU/Equivalent examination, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as the core subjects.

The candidates must have secured an aggregate of 45% marks in PCM. Whereas, the same for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka is 40% marks.

Apart from the criteria above, the candidates must have also passed in all the subjects, which were in the qualifying exam.

Diploma holders are not eligible to write COMEDK 2016

An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list

2. For Architecture Course

Candidate should have appeared for NATA and must have secured, at least, 80 marks out of 200 marks.

Candidates must have studied Mathematics in 10+2/Second PCU/Equivalent exam.

Also, general category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks. However, the same for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka is 45%.

10+3 Diploma holders, from an institute recognized by Central / State Government, are also eligible for COMEDK B.Arch admission. Provided, these candidates fulfill the criteria above
