COMEDK Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental, Karnataka is an Entrance Examination for Around 20 thousand Seats of Medical, Engineering and Dental Programmes offered by more than 14 medical colleges, 25 dental colleges and 150 engineering colleges of Karnataka under the umbrella of Association of Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges (AMDEC) run by the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation (KPCF) Trust.


Eligibility Details :

For Engineering

Candidates must have passed the 12th or PUC or any equivalent examination from any recognized board (without open university/board) of the country with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks (40% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in English as a subject in 12th class.

The candidates must have passed in individual subject.

The Physics, Mathematics and English are compulsory while Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any other technical vocational course is an optional subject.

Diploma candidates are not eligible to appear the exam as it does not have any lateral entry scheme.

Documents to be Send Along COMEDK Application Form

Documents, copy of which candidates will have enclosed along the application form, are listed below:

Class X and XII mark sheet
Certificate of category/minority, issued by authorized body (for SC, ST, OBC of Karnataka).

Online study certificate. This will be prescribed by COMEDK. Candidates must get it signed from the head of the institute last attended.
