Exam Pattern:

The Paper will consist of O bjective Type- Multiple choice questions only.

•Part I General Intelligence (50 ques) - 50 marks

•Part II English Language (Basic Knowledge) (50 ques) - 50 marks

•Part III Quantitavie Aptitude (Basic Arthemetic Skill) (50 questions) - 50 marks

•Part IV General Awareness - (50 questions) - 50 marks

The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CHSL is conducted for recruiting postal assistants, sorting assistants, data entry operators, lower divisional clerks and employees for several departments and ministries of the government of India

Factors affecting cut off:

The total number of vacancies to be filled in the current session.
The total number of applicants for the SSC CHSL Exam.
The complexity level of the paper set.

How SSC CHSL Cut Off is calculated

Questions in Tier-I examination carries 2 marks each with negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer
SSC CHSL Tier-II is a descriptive test hence graded on the basis of writing and grammar skills of candidates
SSC CHSL Tier III is a skill test to check the typing speed and accuracy
Final merit list SSC CHSL 2020 will be based on the candidates’ score in Tier I & Tier II along with the qualifying status in SSC CHSL Tier-III exam.
