My father is an Advocate and I also have dreamt of being Advocate . I have completed my 12 in PCM and now I want to apply for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2015 . Would you please provide me online process to apply for CLAT ? Can you provide me paper pattern of CLAT ??????

CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national level exam conducted for admission in UG and PG law courses. It will be organized by National Law Universities (NLUs) on rotation basis.

Various government & private law colleges in India consider the CLAT scores to offer admission. The examination will be conducted in the month of May.

CLAT Exam Date 2018

Availability of Online Application Form 1st January 2018
Online Fee Payment 1st January 31st March 2018
Last date of Offline Challan Payment 28th February 2018
Last date to submit the fee in bank 7th March 2018
Closing date of Application Submission along
with order of preferences for NLUs 31st March 2018
Last date for printing/downloading application 12th May 2018
Issue Date of Admit Card 20th April 2018
Date of Examination 13th May 2018 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
Publishing of Answer Key 15th May 2018
Representation, if any, relating to the exam, questions or key 16th 18th May 2018
Date for uploading the amended answer key (if required) 26th May 2018
Announcement of Result (issue of merit list) 31st May 2018
Release of first indicative seat allocation list
based on merit-cum-preference 7th June 2018
Closure of Admission 6th July 2018

CLAT Under Graduate (UG) Exam Pattern:

Duration:
The duration of the examination will be two hours.

Number of Questions:
200 questions will be asked in the examination.

Type of Questions:
The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions).

Language:
The question paper will be asked in English language only.

Total Marks:
The question paper will be of 200 marks.

Marking Scheme:
Each question will carry one mark

Negative Marking:
There will be negative marking process. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The questions will come from the following sections and the number of marks for each section:

English including Comprehension 40 40
General Knowledge and Current Affairs 50 50
Elementary Mathematics( Numerical Ability) 20 20
Legal Aptitude 50 50
Logical Reasoning 40 40
Total 200 200
