AGE Bar For CLAT

I am doing BA Final Year from Rajasthan University. I want to appear in CLAT exam after completing B.A Program. So what is the maximum age bar to appear in CLAT Exam? What is the education qualification required to appear in CLAT Exam. Give information brochure for CLAT Exam in PDF File.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India level entrance exam held for the candidates who are interested in undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.

CLAT exam is managed by the 18 NLUs on a rotation basis. It is conducted for the eighteen prominent Law Universities of India.

Undergraduate (UG) Course

Nationality:

One must be Indian Nationals.
NRIs candidates can also apply for the exam.
NRIs have to directly contact to the participating universities directly for the admission provision regarding foreign national candidate.

Age Criteria:
Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for CLAT.

Academic Qualification:

Qualifying Exam:
One must have qualified Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate or equivalent examination from 10+2 education system from a recognized board.

Minimum Marks:
One must have secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate of the total marks and if belonging to SC/ST category, should have a minimum of 40% marks.

Appearing Candidates:
One appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April can also apply. One has to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.

Exam Pattern

The entrance exam is of two hours duration. The question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. There are five sections in exam paper wherein students need to answer questions from subjects such as:

English including Comprehension
General Knowledge and current Affairs
Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability)
Legal Aptitude
Logical Reasoning

Marking Scheme:
For every correct answer, one is given one mark and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks are deducted from the total score.
