As you want I am here providing detail about the Civil Services exam for which you are eligible after B.Tech .


Indian Engineering Service:
Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Eligibility:
Age :21-30 years

Qualifications:- Bachelor degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.


Indian Forest Service Examination:
Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Eligibility:
Qualification :
Candidate should have a Bachelor degree from a recognized university or equivalent

Nationality :
Indian.

Candidate should physically fit.

Indian Civil Service Exam:
Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).


Eligibility:
Age :
for general categories :21
Upper age limit : 30 years.

Upper age limit for SC/ST candidates : 35 years

Upper age limit for physically handicapped candidates :40 years

Indian Administrative Service

Eligibility :
Age :between 21 – 30 years

Qualification:
Candidate should Graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university.


Civil services after B.Tech
About the exam

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts a combined competitive examination for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services (IES) officer.

Eligible for courses

After taking the exam, you will be eligible for Indian Engineering Services and will be allocated services.

Eligibility Criteria

21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination. (Upper age limit relax able for SCs/Sts, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice).
Educational Qualifications:- A degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent. M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subjects also acceptable for certain Services/posts only.
Candidates appearing at their engineering degree or equivalent examination are also eligible to compete. Candidates qualifying on the result of the written part of the Examination will be required to submit the proof of passing the requisite examination along with their detailed application form to be filled up at that stage.

Indian Forest Service Examination

About the exam

Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) competitive examination for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers.

Eligible for courses

Eligible for Indian Forest Service posts.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be the citizen of India to apply for the Indian Administrative Service & Indian Police Service.
The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956. The candidates with a degree from any of the recognized universities can apply for the UPSC Exams.
Candidate appearing for the Civil Service Examination should be physically fit according to the standards of the UPSC. Fitness Standards set by UPSC are based on the guidelines given in Appendix-3 of rules for examination published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 4th December, 2004.

Indian Civil Service Exam

About the exam

Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in order to select candidates for Civil Services Main Examination.

Eligible for courses

Main examination is then followed by an interview which will let a candidate become an IAS, IPS and IFS.

Eligibility Criteria

Any Indian National who has attained the Age of 21 years and not have attained the upper age limit on 1st August of the year in which he/she attempts the exams, are eligible.
The upper age limit varies for various general categories is 30 years while for SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates it is 35 and 40 years respectively.
The candidates should acquire any degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
Final year degree students who will obtain degree by August 1, 2013 will also be eligible for UPSC CSAT 2013.
The degree can be of any class (distinction, first, second etc).
Degree obtained by distance education/ open university is also eligible if the university is a recognised.

Indian Police Service

About the exam

IPS is an all-India Service, entry to which is through one of the most difficult examinations conducted by the UPSC.

Eligible for courses

After taking the exam, you will be eligible for Civil Services and allocated services, namely IAS, IPS and IFS.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed 5 years of continuous and actual service as Deputy Superintendent of Police in States under State Police Service or Assistant Commandants in Central Para Military Forces (Central Reserve Police Service, Border Security Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force and Sashastra Seema Bal) or Officers of the rank of Captain or Major or equivalent in the Armed Forces and should have an unblemished service record.

Indian Administrative Service

About the exam

IAS - Indian Administrative Service Exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year in a pan-Indian basis.

Eligible for courses

After taking the exam, you will be eligible for Indian Administrative Services and will be allocated services.

Eligibility Criteria

For Indian Administrative Service, a candidate should be a citizen of India.
Candidate should be between 21 – 30 years (both inclusive) as on the date mentioned under the UPSC examination notification.
Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university.
Candidate appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and awaiting result can also apply.
Candidate possesses professional and technical qualification recognised by Government equivalent to the professional and technical degree can also apply.
Candidate who has passed the final professional M.B.B.S. or any other Medical Examination but has not completed his/her internship by the time of submission of his/her application for the Civil Services (Main) Examination.

Indian Foreign Service

About the exam

Indian Foreign Service (IFS) is a Central Service and the premier diplomatic service of our country. The Indian Foreign Service deals with the country's external affairs, including diplomacy, trade and cultural relations.

Eligible for course

After taking the exam, you will be eligible for Indian Foreign Services and will be allocated services.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate from a recognised university and should be between 21-30 years of age. For SC/ST candidates there is an age relaxation of 5 years.
