For CISF ASI there is a Training Centre. The Regional Training Centre (RTC) Arakkonam was established in the year 1989.

The training center is located at Suraksha Camp, near Thokkolam Village, Arakkonam, Vellore District of Tamil Nadu.

The center is 70 Kms away from Chennai Airport and 18 Kms from Arakkonam Railway Station.

RTC Arakkonam is presently engaged in imparting Basic Courses to ASI/Exe, ASI/Steno and Head Constable/Clerk (Direct/Ex-Army).

The training institution organizes various specialized courses like AVSEC courses, Modern Security Gadgets, Intelligence Course, QRT Course, Bugler Course, Re-induction training for the personnel repatriated from NDRF Bn
