For providing training in industrial security aspects for various categories of new candidates and service personnel, CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) has one training academy, NISA (National Industrial Security Academy) and 6 RTCs (Recruit Training Centres) located in India. The new candidates at the entry level of constable, ASI/Clk, SI, AC are put to rigorous training for a period of 36 weeks, 18 weeks, 50 weeks and 52 weeks respectively in various fields like weaponry, criminal jurisprudence, industrial law and other specialised training.
