Here I am giving you details for admission in Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Course at Calcutta University including a Sample Chalan for application fees. No of Seats: 20 (Twenty) Eligibility: Candidates should have a Master’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university Selection Procedure: Candidates will selected based on NET/SET/SLET/Entrance Test score and interview conducted by the university Procedure to Apply: • Application form can be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta University • Application form can be obtained from the Office of the Calcutta University by Rs 100/- (by cash) through a challan obtainable from the Cash counter, Alipur Campus • Filled up forms along with the requisite fee by C.U. Challan are to be submitted between 12.00 am and 02.30 pm on all working days at the office of the Department of Education (3rd floor ), Alipur Campus, C.U. Requirements at the time of Submission of Form: 1) Application fee of Rs.100/- by C.U. cash challan indicating Application fee for Ph.D Program in Education 2) Attested copy of age proof certificate 3) Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate 4) Attested copy of Mark-sheet(s) in MA /M.Sc in Education/ M.Ed along with that of any other pertinent certificate, if any 5) a) Attested copy of qualifying certificate in NET / SET/SLET/ M.Phil in Education; b) Attested copy of G.B. Resolution for F.I.P.
