The Karnataka Examination Authority is conducts Karnataka CET (Common Entrance Test) for admissions to B. Tech programmes in various colleges in the state of Karnataka.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) was started the counselling process of KCET from June 12.

KCET result was released in online mode on June 1; the exam was topped by Shridhar Dodamani.

To check KCET result candidate had to log-in to result portal using registration number.

KEA authorities had earlier asked candidates to enter their marks in CBSE/ CISCE/ 10+2 etc.

Important dates:

Notification for KCET 2018 November 8, 2017
Availability of online KCET application form February 1, 2018
Extended dates of KCET 2018 application form March 15 to 22, 2018 (Till 5. 30 pm)
Extended dates of KCET 2018 application fee remittance (At the bank) and online March 15 to 22, 2018 (Till 5.30 pm)

KCET 2018 application correction March 27-31, 2018
Availability of KCET 2018 admit card From April 6 to 15, 2018 (Released)
KCET 2018 exam- Mathematics April 18, 2018 (Biology - 10:30 am to 11:50 am)
(Mathematics- 2:30 p.m to 3:50 p.m)
KCET 2018 exam- Physics & Chemistry April 19, 2018 (Physics- 10:30 a.m to 11:50 a.m)
(Chemistry-2:30 p.m to 3:50 p.m)
Kannada Language Test in Bangalore (only for Horanadu, Gadinadu and Kannadiga candidates) April 20, 2018
KCET 2018 provisional answer key availability April 24, 2018
Announcement of KCET 2018 result June 1, 2018
Counselling & verification of documents for KCET 2018 June 12, 2018 onwards
Seat Allotment of KCET 2018 Jul-18

General candidates of Karnataka Rs. 650
SC / ST candidates of Karnataka Rs. 500
Candidates outside Karnataka Rs. 750
Candidates residing outside India Rs. 5,000
