Here are the details of entrance exam:

CST 2014 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized board or university.

CST 2014 Application Procedure
Application fees for Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology program is Rs 500/-

Candidate can pay the fees in cash or draw a Demand Draft in favour of ‘C-DAC’ payable at Mumbai.

CST 2014 Exam Pattern
CST 2014 will have Multiple Choice Type questions.

General Aptitude (1 Hour):
Logical reasoning, Quantitative reasoning, Visuo-spatial reasoning, High school mathematics, Vocabulary, English comprehension and verbal ability

Computer Concepts (1 Hour):
Computer basics, Data representation, Binary arithmetic, computer architecture, computer languages, operating system basics, Basic programming using C

Common Eligibility Criteria for all the PG Diploma Courses of C-DAC

Applicant must have Graduate in Engineering (e.g. BE / BTech / 4-year BSc Engg / AMIE / DoEACC B Level, etc.) in IT / Computer Science/ Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation or related areas

OR Post Graduate Degree in Engineering Sciences (e.g. M.Sc in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, etc.)

Full-Time Courses of 24-Week Duration .

Admission Process ;

Admissions to all PG Diploma Courses will be made through a Common Admission Test

C-CAT will be Conducted in the form of Three test Papers Labeled as

SECTION - A (English, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude),

SECTION - B (C Programming, Data Structures, Data Communications and Network, OOPs and Operating Systems) and

SECTION - C (Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics and Microprocessors), each of one hour duration, having 50 questions of 3 marks each (maximum 150 marks).

Application Fee :

The Basic Application Fee for C-CAT is Rs. 1000/-,
There after Rs.100/- is Added for Every Course Opted in the Online Application

The application Fee for one Course will be Rs.1100/-,
For two Courses Rs.1200/-,

After Filling the Online Application form, the Application Fee may be Paid Online

OR in Cash Through the' Make Payment' Step on the Main Menu of the Online Application

No cheque or Demand Draft (DD) will be Accepted Towards Payment of C-CAT Application Fees

After filling the online application, the applicant should print the form and submit it personally along with the fee (in cash) at any of the C-DAC training centres on or before the last date of application
