The Central Institute of Fisheries Education is a Deemed to be University and institution of higher learning for fisheries science in Mumbai, India. The Health Management In Freshwater Fish Culture of the Central Institute of Fisheries Education is given below ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai, in over 50 years of existence, has emerged as a Centre of Excellence in Higher Education in Fisheries Science and allied disciplines. The Institute was established on 6 June 1961, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India Areas to be addressed Freshwater fish culture in India Health management in fish culture Viral fish diseases Bacterial fish diseases Parasitic diseases in freshwater fish culture Therapeutics in freshwater aquaculture Soil & water quality management in fish culture Best management practices and prophylaxis for freshwater fish farming Eligibility Staff/students of State Government of Fishery Department, ICAR Institutes, Universities including KVKs, from the field of life sciences, fish health management, nutrition, genetics, and aquaculturists are invited to apply. All applications duly forwarded by the Head of the Institution (not required in case of private candidates) should be sent to the Course Coordinators at the address provided. Photocopies of the format can also be used. A total of 20 participants will be selected after screening Fees / Accommodation / Food Charges Rs. 4000/- person needs to be paid as course fees.
