CDAC a premier research establishment affiliated with the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Government of India


CDAC Conducts the Entrance Examination for Admission into Its Post graduation Courses the names of the Courses is As follow

PG Diploma in Advanced Computing
PG Diploma in Wireless and Mobile Computing
PG Diploma in VLSI Design
PG Diploma in IT Infrastructure, System and Security
PG Diploma in Integrated VLSI and Embedded System Design
PG Diploma in Geoinformatics

Eligibility :

Graduate in Engineering or equivalent (eg. BE/ B.Tech/ 4 years B. Sc Engg./ AMIE/ AIETE/ DoEACC B level etc) in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or related areas.
2. PG in Engg. Sciences (eg. MCA/ M.Sc. Engg, M.Sc.(CS, IT, EE, Electronics, Instrumentation etc)
3. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying examination.



Examination Pattern of the Entrance Test :

C-CAT has three sections (Section A, Section B, Section C) of one hour duration each.

TEST PAPER TOPICS
Section A English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning 1 hour
Section B Computer Fundamentals, C Programming, Data Structures, Data Communications & Networking, Object Oriented Programming Concepts, Operating Systems
Section C Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors
