Re: Can after pursuing some course Commerce students can work on Ships?
There are different career paths for Science & Engineering streams. Sea career is not meant for commerce graduates as it is not a specified stream for entry to any of the courses being offered. Even if you are admitted for the GP rating course which will enable cadet to move further in the industry to the post of officer. And many institutes promise this and show rosy pictures but genrally most of the time they cannot provide total or even any seatime after the course;which is quite necessary for appearing in the exams of Merchant Navy. Commerce is all about business or trade. It deals with market studies, economics, fiscal policies and industrial policies. It is a collection of interdisciplinary branches- accountancy, business administration, finance, economics, marketing, advertisement, e-commerce, and many more. Courses for commerce students: 1. B.Com(Hons.) 2. B.Com 3. BBA 4. BBM 5. MBA 6. CA 7. CS 8. ICWA |
