CA CPT Negative Marks

I have applied for CA Common Proficiency Test CPT exam and I want to know the negative marking in this exam?

CA Common Proficiency Test CPT is the gateway exam to CA course, conducted by ICAI in June and December.

The Four hour test consists of objective questions ranging from Fundamentals of Accounts, Mercantile Law, General Economics and Quantitative aptitude.

In CPT exam there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answer.

CA CPT Exam Pattern :

Total Marks: 200.

Paper Type: Objective – Multiple choice questions

Language of paper: English / Hindi

Marking: There will be negative marking for incorrect answer. 25% marks will be deduced for incorrect answer.

SESSION – I (100 Marks, 2 hours)

Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting (60 marks)

Section B: Mercantile Laws (40 marks)

SESSION – II (100 marks, 2 hours)

Section C: General Economics (50 marks)

Section D: Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks)

To qualify CA CPT exam a candidate must obtain minimum 30% in each subject and 50%
