Exam Pattern of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Exam

BPSC Exam is conducted in three phases which are as follows –

1. BPSC PT (Preliminary Test) - This is an objective type questions based test.
If you are clear exam then you are qualifies to the second phase.

2. BPSC Main Test - This is a subjective type questions based test if you are clear exam then you are qualifies to the second phase third phase.

3. BPSC Interview Test - This is a direct interview which the candidate can attend upon passing the BPSC Main Test.
If you are the passes BPSC Interview Test finally, the candidate is said to have qualified the BPSC Exam.

Subjects for Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Exam

There are three subjects which are compulsory –
• Mathematics
• General Knowledge
• English

Out of the following, any two can be chosen as optional subjects for BPSC examination –
• Geology
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Statistics
• Economics
• Agriculture
• Botany
• Chemical Engineering
• Chemistry
• Zoology
