Pattern for the exam of BPSC

The examination of PCS under BPSC is successively divided in to two parts – 1) Preliminary Examination and

2) Main Examination And the applicants clearing these two levels will be called for the “Interview” The description of the various examination is given below –

1) Preliminary Examination – The preliminary examination of BPSC – PCS will comprise of the objective type questions. It is a qualifying examination.

The applicants will be given multiple choices for each questions.

They will have to choose the best possible answer for them and mark on it.

There will be total 150 questions, each of one marks i.e. total marks assigned for the preliminary examination is 150.

The duration of the examination will be two hours i.e. 120 minutes

2) Main Examination – The main examination comprises of – (i) Written Examination and (ii) Personal Interview
