I, Ankit Agrawal, am pursuing my B.tech final year from IIITDM Jabalpur(M.P). I just want to know the admission procedure for master degree in meachanical at BITS Pilani.Whether there gate score id needed or any other entrance exam will be scheduled?

BITS Mesra M.E /M.Tech Eligibility:

M.E. programmes:

B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE or equivalent degree in the appropriate
Branches with a minimum 60% mark in average (45% for SC/ST) in graduation.

Candidates should preferably be GATE qualified.

Non-GATE candidates will be considered only after applicants who have qualified in GATE have been considered, interviewed.

M.Tech programmes:

B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE / MCA / equivalent degree in the appropriate disciplines / branches with a first class or minimum 60% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) in graduation / MCA.
OR
M.Sc. / M.A. degree or equivalent in the appropriate disciplines / branches with 55% (45% for SC/ST), after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in 10+2+3 system from a recognized University

Class X Certificate and Marks sheet

Class XII / Intermediate or equivalent Marks sheet

Certificates and marks sheets of Graduation / qualifying examination

Admit Card of GATE

Score Card of GATE

Caste certificate

(Ward of BIT employee must provide photocopy of certificate in proper format from appropriate authority.
