Banaras Hindu University Research Entrance Test (RET) is a paper-pen based exploration passage test coordinated for PhD Admission in BHU. BHU RET comprises of three phase to be specific • Test A: Test to evaluate Logical and Analytical Capability • Test B:Test to evaluate Subject Knowledge • Test C: Research proposition and Personal Interview Ph.D competitors need to clear every phase of this exam keeping in mind the end goal to be considered for BHU Ph.D. Confirmation. BHU RET 2016 Exam Dates BHU RET 2016 application form availability date: 10 September 2016 End date for submission of application form: October 1, 2016 Admit card will be available from: 6th Oct 2016 Exam Date: 11th October 2016 Qualification for BHU RET:- Faculty of Agriculture:- (a) Qualifying Examination: Essential:- A hopeful having (i) Master's degree in Agriculture/Science (M.Sc (Ag.)/M.Sc.) in the concerned order with B.Sc. (Ag.) 4 years degree. On the other hand (ii) Master's degree in Agriculture/Science (M.Sc (Ag.)/M.Sc.) in any of the unified subjects/disciplines with B.Sc. (Ag.) 4 years degree relating to the division. (iii) M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering/M.E. (Agrarian Engineering) or proportional degree with spe cialization in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/Soil and Water Engineering/Water Resources Engineering or M.Sc. (Ag.) in Soil and Water Conservation for affirmation in Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Conservation Engineering), (iv) M.Sc.(Ag.)/M.Sc. in Agricultural Statistics/M.Sc. in Statistics for Admission in Ph. D. in Agricultural Statistics. The competitors having 10+2+3+2 arrangement of instruction will likewise be qualified for affirmation in Ph.D. through RET and RET (Exempted) in the accompanying Disciplines: (1) Food Science and Technology; (2) Agricultural Statistics (b) Qualifying Marks:- At slightest 55% in total or proportionate evaluation point normal in the qualifying examination.
