Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) recruited Engineer Trainees in the disciplines of Mechanical and Electrical engineering. One applied online till February 3, 2017 using the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Registration number that was mentioned on the GATE 2017 Admit Card.

Eligibility Criteria for BHEL Recruitment through GATE 2017:

One was Indian Nationals
One was qualified in GATE 2017 and must have valid scores to be considered for recruitment.
One had completed a full time Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
One had passed 5 year integrated Master degree or dual degree programme in Engineering or Technology are also eligible to apply
One produced the Degree/Final year marks sheets by June 1, 2017 or at the time of Interview, whichever is earlier

29 years for one having 2 years full time Post Graduate in Engineering or Business Administration/Management

OBC 3 years
Physically Challenged 10 years for UR, 13 for OBC-NCL and 15 for SC/ST
Ex-Servicemen As per extant of Government of India
Jammu and Kashmir candidates 5 years for those who were declared domicile of J&K during January 1, 1980, to December 21, 1989.
