My cousin want to do B.F.A (Dance) course from the Mumbai University . Will you please tell when the university starts admission process for this course . Also please give fee structure of the B.F.A (Dance) course of Mumbai University.

Bachelor of Fine arts is an undergraduate itinerary which basically provides a degree in the area of Fine Arts. Under this following course are offered to the students like photography, sculpture, theatre, painting, architecture and dance.

For the B.F.A course applicant should be 10+2 pass in any discipline. usually there is no entrance exam is conducted for this course but there are some institutes in India which hold the entrance exams.

Qualification

Applicants for being eligible for admission to the course for the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in the respective branches:-

You must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination with English being one of the subject,

You must have passed the 10+2 with at least 50 percent marks in the aggregate (45% marks in the case of Backward Class Candidates from the Maharashtra State only)

Selection Process

You should pass an Entrance Aptitude Test comprising-the following Subject

1. Object drawing
2 Memory Drawing and
3. Design,


All the above subjects carry a total of 40 marks that would be conducted by the College/Institution, concerned.

To finalise the admission the marks will be added to the marks obtained at the Entrance attitude Test as Under:-

The Student who Secured `A Grade in Intermediate Drawing Grade Exam-------10 marks

The Student who secures `B' Grade in Intermediate Drawing Grade Exam-------05 marks

The Student who secures 'C' grade in Intermediate Drawing Grade Exam-------00 marks

The 50 percent marks of the total percentage of marks obtained at the XII Standard Examination secured by you will be added in the above marks to finalise the admission in the First Pear B.F.A.
