As you know that AMIE and BE are both engineering qualifications. B.E. stands for the Bachelor of Engineering. It is an undergraduate degree. AMIE stands for Associate Member of Indian Institution of Engineers. It is a professional certification. AMIE is awarded by IE, is recognized by the government of India as equivalent to BE for appearing in graduate level examinations such as those conducted by UPSC or for employment purposes.

AMIE Engineering (IEI)
AMIE ( Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers )


AMIE is an alternate option for getting an engineering degree. It is recognized as equivalent to an engineering degree by AICTE, UPSC, SSC, Central Government Departments and state governments etc. AMIE degree holder can write examinations like civil services, Indian engineering services, GATE, GRE, etc

1. Time: Two and half years
2. Subject : All together 13 (4 engineering + 9 Branch Engineering)
3. Expenditure: full curse 20 thousand Rs
4. M tech (GATE) preparation: After pass 4 subjects
5. Degree: Graduation in Engineering and Membership of (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) India.
6. Reorganization: Same as University degree.
7. Admission eligibility : Diploma in engineering
8. Curriculum: Syllabus made considering Diploma engineering syllabus.
9. Job and M.Tech Opportunity: Equal
10. Shaping personality and soft skill: Extra time can be used for recovering lacking and shaping personality and practice soft skill.

University Degree B.E.
A BEng degree is accredited by one of the Engineering Council's professional bodies as suitable for registration as a chartered engineering.

1. Time: Four years
2. Subject : All together (min) 44 subjects
3. Expenditure: full course 2 luks Rs
4. M tech (GATE) preparation: After final year or in final year.
5. Degree: Bachelor of Engineering
6. Reorganization: Same as IEI AMIE degree.
7. Admission eligibility : HSC or Equivalents
8. Curriculum: Syllabus made considering HSC or Equivalents syllabus.
9. Job and M.Tech Opportunity: Equal
10. Shaping personality and soft skill: Heard to manage Extra time, no chance to recovering lacking.

Hey friend as you want to know that the Best course between B.E or AMIE so let me tell you it depends on your condition if you can spend time do the regular course because some top companies do not consider the AMIE as you may lose the chance of job in the central government too.

I am giving you the detail for both the courses compare them and choose that which suits you the best

B.Tech/B.E.

The Bachelor of Technology or B.E. is an undergraduate academic degree conferred after completion of a three or four-year program of studies at an accredited university or accredited university-level institution.

It is recognised by every government or the private firms

It is a technical degree

It is accepted overall the world

You can get into any firm as all the branches are considered in any company to the specific work

It is a regular and a four year degree program

AMIE

Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers

Eligibility: 10+2 or Diploma

Recognition: Yes

It may be accepted or not by the top firms

An AMIE degree is recognized as equivalent to an engineering degree by AICTE, UPSC, SSC, Central Government Departments and state governments etc. AMIE degree holder can write examinations like civil services, Indian engineering services, GATE, GRE, etc.

The candidates after earning a certificate in AMIE can choose for higher studies leading to master’s degree in engineering or any other qualification. Alternatively, these candidates can start working with government / private organizations in their respective field of specialization or become entrepreneur
