BCECE or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is a state level entrance exam conducted by Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board

Tentative Dates
Start of Online Registration –
February, 2016

Last date of filling the application form –
First week of march, 2016

Release of Admit card –
1st week of April, 2016

Result Announcement date –
1st week of June, 2016

Counselling Begins –
2nd week of June, 2016

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board having 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Math/biology.

Exam Pattern:
BCECE Stage 1
There will be four sections in the exam i.e. from
Physics,
Chemistry,
Mathematics, and
Biology

All the questions will be of MCQ type having 4 options.

The total no. of question will be 200, i.e. 50 from each section.

All candidates have to attempt physics and chemistry as compulsory sections, and Math and biology as optional as per their chosen field for engineering or medical

BCECE Stage 2
The stage 2 will also contain four sections from
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, having 100 question in each subject

Each subject carries 400 marks with +4 mark for correct answer and -1 for wrong answer.

BCECE 2016 is the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, also known as Bihar CET 2016. The BCECEB conducts this common entrance examination for engineering and medical UG programmes admission in state colleges.

Admission to following degree courses in the colleges and institutes of Bihar are based on BCECE.
• Engineering / Pharmacy courses: In Government/ Government accredited technical institutions in Bihar and in Bihar allocation seats of institutions outside Bihar.
• Medical courses: Government and other institutions MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS / BHMS/ BUMS/ B. Physiotherapy/ B.Occupational Therapy/ Para Medical Bachelor/ Graduate programmes (Lab Tech., O.T., Assistant, X Ray Tech., Opthalmic Assistant and Orthitics and Prosthetics) and other similar courses.
• Biotechnology with Agriculture courses: Rajendra Krishi Vidyalaya, Pusa (Samastipur) and Bihar Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Sabaur (Bhagalpur) graduate programmes

Any applicant who wants to participate in the examination must enroll themselves before the due date for application i. e. on or before 2nd week of March.
