Mitigating circumstances are considered by the Mitigating Circumstances Subcommittee of AQSC.

Requests for mitigating circumstances should be addressed to the Registrar

The Subcommittee, comprising the Registrar (Chair), a senior member of Student Services staff and a member of Academic Staff then meets to decide whether cases are accepted, rejected or referred to the full Assessment Board for consideration.

A list of the Subcommittees decision will be provided to is then provided to the full Assessment Board.
