The eligibility criteria for all most bank exam is graduation. Here I am providing you the SBI PO exam notification. Educational Qualification- Graduation from a recognized university with a minimum requisite of 65% average mark for general category 60% . Age: Minimum: 21 Years; Maximum: 30 Years The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates. Relaxation of Upper age limit- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe - 35years Other Backward Classes - 33 years Persons With Disabilities – 10 years Ex-Servicemen – 35 years Candidates from Kashmir Division – 35 years Nationality: Indian Final selection: The marks of Group Discussion and SBI Bank PO Interview will be put together and the candidates who secure minimum 40% marks (minimum 35% in case of SC / ST / OBC / PWD) in group discussion and interview will be considered for final selection. Tentative Important Dates (2014)- Online registration starts from Apr 7, 2014 Payment of fees (online) Apr 7 - Apr 25, 2014 Payment of fees (offline) Apr 10 – Apr 28, 2014 Exam date (tentative) June 2014 Exam pattern- Phase I: Written Examination: 150 marks The examination will consist of two parts. First part will consist of objective questions while second part will be e descriptive paper. Part A (Objective Paper) will consist of questions from the following sections: 1. Reasoning (High Level): 50 marks 2. Data Analysis and Interpretation: 50 marks 3. General Awareness, Marketing and Computers: 50 marks 4. English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.): 50 marks Except the Test in English language all the questions in the tests will be in Hindi and English. Candidates will have to complete the paper in two hours. Each question will consist of one mark. The objective test will be online. Immediately after online objective test, candidates will have to appear for Part B (Descriptive Test). Part B is a Paper/Pen mode exam. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the parts and sub-parts by securing a minimum cut -off to be decided by the Bank. The Descriptive Test will be held through one hour and will be a test of English Language (comprehension, short precis, letter writing & essay) Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated only for candidates who have who scored qualifying marks in Part A and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test. Phase-II Group Discussion & Interview: 50 marks The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the objective tests and descriptive test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Discussion (20 marks) and Interview (30 marks). The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank. Candidates qualifying for GD & Interview under 'OBC' category are required to submit OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause. Candidates not submitting the OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause and requesting to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained. The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase II separately. |

Mainly bank exams need graduation. Here I am providing you the eligibility criteria of some of the Bank exams. Bank exams eligibility- Bank PO exam eligibility- Graduation with at least 55 to 60% marks. The minimum required marks can also be different for science, commerce and arts stream. Further there may be relaxations for reserved category Age Age requirement in most Bank PO exam is 21 to 30 years. This may be relaxed upto 5 years for reserved categories. SBI Clerk Exam eligibility- A Graduate Degree from a recognised university Age Limit: (As on 01 May 2014) Minimum Age : 20 years Maximum Age : 28 years IBPS CWE (PO/MT) for PSBs 20-30 Years Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification IBPS CWE (Officers) for RRBs Officer Scale III - 21-40 yrs. Officer Scale II - 21-32 yrs. Officer Scale I - 18-28 yrs. Degree in any discipline for General Banking Officers (50% for Scale II &III) & Degree / PG in a relevant subject for Specialist Officers as given in the notification. Experience also required for some posts SBI/SBI Associate Banks PO 21-30 Years Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university / college Clerks IBPS CWE (Clerks) for PSBs 20-28 Years Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification IBPS CWE (Office Assistants) for RRBs 18-28 Years Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent. Nationality: under this cateogary you must be one of the following: • A citizen of India • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from other countries (detailed list of countries available on official website) with the intention of permanently settling in India. 2.
