Participating Banks Allahabad Bank Canara Bank Indian Overseas Bank UCO Bank Andhra Bank Central Bank of India Oriental Bank of Commerce Union Bank of India Bank of Baroda Corporation Bank Punjab National Bank United Bank of India Bank of India Dena Bank Punjab & Sind Bank Vijaya Bank Bank of Maharashtra Indian Bank Syndicate Bank Eligibility The aspirant applying for IBPS Clerk exam should hold a graduate or equivalent degree from any centrally recognized university. The applicant should be in the age group of minimum 20 to maximum 28 year. Knowledge of computer is necessary for applying to the said exam. Exam pattern Both the Preliminary and Main Exam of IBPS Clerk will be conducted online. All questions asked in the Prelims and Mains exam will be objective type. The Online Preliminary Exam of IBPS Clerk will be of 100 marks comprising of four sections. Whereas the total marks allotted for IBPS Clerk Mains Exam is 200 and there will be total five sections. There is even penalty for wrong answers. IBPS will not conduct Interview. Application fees Category Fee SC/ST PWD/EXSM Rs.100/- All the rest of the category Rs.600/- Selection Process: The selection of the candidate in IBPS Clerk Recruitment will be done on the marks score in an exam. There will be no interview and weightage will be given to marks score in main exam. However, there will be document verification process. The overall selection will be as follow: Candidate needs to qualify the pre-exam initially. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in the pre exam. Candidates whose name will be there in the merit list will be allowed to appear in the main exam. The final selection of the candidate will be on the basis of main exam performance. The final merit list will be prepared as per the candidate’s performance for the main exam also. |
