IES is Indian Engineering Services Examination it is conduct by UPSC.

Eligibility Details for IES:

Nationality - Indian

Age –

For General candidates 21 years to 30 years
For OBC candidates 21 years to 33 years
For SC / ST candidates 21 years to 35 years

Applicants should have a degree from a recognized institute / university or equivalent.

Final year appearing candidates are also eligible.

So here you can not apply for IES exam in this year you can apply for IES exam in next year.

IES Examination Pattern

Entrance exam for Indian Engineering Service comprises of a Written Exam (section I and II) and an Interview.

The details are following:

One Engineering regulation should be select from the following categories:

Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

The written examination will comprise two sections:

Section I - objective types questions
Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers.

Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering subject.

Interview for Personality test of selected candidates: 200marks
