B Pharm Admission Dibrugarh University
I was suffering from the fever in my exam so I secured only 49.38% in 12th exam. I want to do B.Pharma course from the Dibrugarh University. Am I eligible to do B.Pharma course from the Dibrugarh University or I should appear in class 12th again to get good marks?

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established at Dibrugarh University in 1983. All the courses conducted in this Department are approved by the PCI and the AICTE. The mission of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is to impart quality pharmacy education and technology based training for serving the nation and the world for sustainable development, social harmony and peace. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) Course Eligibility criteria: For admission, one must have passed either- (i) The (10+2) Exam (Science stream) of the Assam Higher Secondary Council, or any other exam recognised by the Dibrugarh University as equivalent to this exam, securing minimum 50% (45% for candidates belonging to Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes) marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. OR (ii) The 2 year Diploma in Pharmacy Exam of Assam or of any other Institution which is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Duration of course and Examination: (a) The programme is 4 years Graduate Degree Course comprising of 8 Semesters. Each semester is of 6 month duration. (b) Exam and evaluation are done on a continuous basis in each semester. 60% marks of each Theory and Practical paper in a semester are allotted to End-Semester Exam and 40% marks are allotted to In-Semester Exam/ Assessment.
