Azim Premji University was founded in 2010, it is a not-for-profit, private autonomous university under the Azim Premji University Act 2010 of the Karnataka Legislature in India.

Programs offered by Azim Premji University:
Three-year, full-time, residential Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degrees are offered in the following specializations:

Physics or Biology
Economics
Combined Humanities (History, Language & Literature and Philosophy)

Admission details:
Applicants must have Class 12 / Pre University certificate from any recognized Indian Board or any valid international certificate equivalent to Class 12.

Age limit:
Applicant must not be older than 19 years of age and should have successfully completed 12th standard examination (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks.
