Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a university in India,spread across South India in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The university headquarters are at Ettimadai, approximately twenty-two kilometers from Coimbatore City. Grading point system Grade Point Grade Rating A+ 10 Outstanding A 10 Excellent B+ 9 Very Good B 8 Good C+ 7 Above Average C 6 Average D 5 Pass F 0 Failed FA 0 Failed due to lack of Attendance I - Incomplete (Awarded only for Laboratory project courses) W – Withheld Grade Point Average Based on the credits for which the student has registered and the grades awarded, Semester Grade Point Average [SGPA] and Cumulative Grade Point Average [CGPA] are calculated. SGPA = ∑(Ci x Gpi ) / ∑ Ci Ci = Credit for the ith course in that semester Gpi = Grade point for the ith course CGPA = ∑ (Ci x Gpi ) / ∑ Ci Ci = Credit for the ith course in any semester Gpi = Grade point for the ith course |
