The Amet University is provides courses in Maritime Education. The Academy of Maritime Education and Training is an educational institute located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

It was founded in 1992, dedicated to maritime studies. The AMET institute is dedicated for maritime education and training.

It is a Deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
