Air Force with Commerce

Can you tell me if I can join Air Force after completing 12th with Commerce stream as want to make a career in this field?

To get entry in Air Force you one need to clear NDA (National Defence Academy) exam and the basic eligibility for NDA is - a candidate must have completed their 12th with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

As you have completed your 12th in Commerce Stream so, you are not eligible for NDA Exam and so not for Air Force.

The NDA Examination gives the opportunity to the male candidates to enter the following Academy of NDA -:
1. Air Force wing of NDA.
2. Naval wing of NDA.
3. Army wing of NDA.

Educational Qualifications:

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy:-

12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

You should be a Citizen of India

Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years

You should be an unmarried male

Girls are not allowed for NDA Exam

Hey, to join Air Force you should have to complete graduation course . After graduation you apply AFCAT Exam to join air force..

AFCAT Exam :
Indian Air Force conducts AFCAT Exam to the aspirants want to join Air Force services such that :
Flying Branch ,
Technical Branch ,
Ground Duty branch .

The Ground duty is divided in few scheme which is : A
Administration & Logistics Scheme ,
Account Scheme ,
Education Scheme .

Eligibility For Administration & Logistics Scheme :
Qualification :
Candidate should have graduation degree from a recognized university according to notification with 60% marks .

Age Limit : 20 to 23 year .
Gender : Male & Female both candidate are apply for this exam .

Eligibility For Account Scheme :

Qualification :
Candidate should have B.Com degree with 60% marks or M.Com with 50% marks or C.A. from a recognized university .
Age Limit : 20 to 25 year .
