Sorry to say that after completing 12 Commerce you are not eligible to join the Indian Air Force

If you want to join the Indian Air force then you have to complete Graduation in the commerce field and after completing the graduation in the commerce field you are eligible for the Accountant and Logistics branches in the Indian Air force

Accountant Branch

Candidates should complete graduation in the B.Com.In the graduation you should have minimum aggregate of 60%.
OR
Candidates should complete Post Graduation in M.Com / ICWA /CA .
Candidates should have minimum aggregate of 50%.

Administration Branch

Education Qualification –
Candidates should complete graduation in any discipline and you should have minimum aggregate of 60%.

OR
Candidates should complete the diploma then you should have minimum of the 50% in aggregate

Logistics Branch

Education Qualification –
Candidates should complete graduation in any discipline from the recognized college or University.
Candidates should complete minimum 60% in aggregate.

OR
Candidates should complete diploma then you should have minimum of the 50% in aggregate

I have completed 12 class with Commerce stream . Am I eligible to join the Indian Air Force or not ?

Sorry to say that it is not possible to join Indian Air Force after competition of your 12th with commerce stream.

The entry to Indian Airforce after 12th can be done through only NDA.
The eligibility criteria for that is:-

-Age should be 16 ½ to 19 years(at the time of commencement of course)
-Educational Qualifications is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Appearing final year students can also eligible to apply.
-Nationality should be Indian.
-Gender should be men only.

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year for three wings.

- Army wings
- Navy wings
Air force Wings

So, you should go for B.com as you are interested in it.
After completion of B.com you can apply for the AFCAT exam to join in Airforce

~ AFCAT stands for Airforce common admission test
The exam includes 3 braches .
1) Technical branch
2) Ground duty branch
3) Flying branch

The Flying branch includes ,
~ Fighters
~ Transports
~ Helicopters

To join in Flying branch , your aage shouldbe in between 19-23 years only

The Ground duty branch includes ,
~ Administration
~ Logistics
~ Education
~ Accounts
~ Meterology

To join in Ground duty branch , your age shouldbe in between 20-23 years

So, go for Graduation and complete it from a Recognized university

After completion of class 12th with Commerce applicants can join Indian Air Force through Airmen in Group ‘Y’ and Group ‘X’ Trades .

The minimum eligibility for recruitment as Airmen is Matriculation / Intermediate with a minimum 50% marks and pass marks in English.

Eligibility : Only unmarried male Indian citizens as also citizens of Nepal are eligible for recruitment.

Mechanical Driver : 165 cm ( 162.5 cm for applicants belonging to Uttaranchal and North Eastern States ) with minimum leg length of 99 cm.

Height : Minimum 152.5 cm.

Ground Training Instructor : 167 cm ( 162.5 cm for applicants belonging to Uttaranchal and North East.

IAF ( Police ) : 175 cm.

Chest : Minimum expansion of 5 cm.
Weight Corresponding to height and age.

Hearing : Able to hear forced whisper at 6 minutes with each ear separately.

Vision : Unaided 6/36, corrected with
glasses 6/36, corrected with glasses 6/9 for each eye [For IAF ( Security & Police ) unaided vision is 6/6].

Written Test : Applicants have to qualify both in English & Mathematical Reasoning papers.

Applicants have to undergo a Physical Fitness Test which includes a 1.6 km run to be completed in maximum of 8 minutes.

Applicants qualifying in PFT have to undergo medical examination by the Air Force Medical Team as per IAF Medical Standard.
