Hey Vaishali!!! All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi conducts Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur).

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:-

Candidate should have attained age of 17 (seventeen) years

Academic Qualification:-

Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.

Exam Pattern:
The Exam will be of 3½ hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason- assertion type) questions from subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.

Subject - Number of Questions

•Physics - 60 questions

•Chemistry - 60 questions

•Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions

•General Knowledge - 20 questions

Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice marked during application.


Marking Scheme:-

•Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).

•Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.

•No credit will be given for the questions not answered.

•More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked.
