There will be a standardized reservation policy followed in the 15 AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) institutes. Under this policy, out of the total seats:

7.5% are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST)
15% for Scheduled Castes (ST)
27% for Other Backward Class (OBC)


Out of the total seats that are offered by AIIMS institutes, 5% are reserved for PwD candidates. These candidates are provided reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The reservations will be provided on the horizontal basis, in the available seats.
