What are the percentages required in class 12th for SC/ST category students to apply for the AIIMS BDS Entrance Exam? I belongs to the ST category and I passed the 12th in science biology with 50% marks. Am I eligible to apply for the AIIMS BDS Entrance Exam?

Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the national level NEET entrance exam for offering admission in medical & dental courses.

In order to get admission in MBBS and BDS programmes, almost every state accept NEET score card.

Eligibility

Candidates must be completed the age of 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission

Candidates must be passed in 12th class examination or equivalent exam from any recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with securing minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/OPH Candidates

AIIMS BDS Important dates:

Online Registration for application opens on: 5th February 2018

Last date for online registration: 5th March 2018

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination: 26th & 27th May 2018

Result Notification: 12th June, 2018

1st Counselling: 03rd, 04th, 05th, & 06th July, 2018

2nd Counselling: 2nd August, 2018

3rd Counselling: 4th September, 2018

Open Counselling [If required]: 27th September, 2018

Open Counselling (if required): 26th September 2018

Seat Reservation

The seat reservation for different categories will be followed by 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, for Indian Nationals.

A 3% reservation for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis
