Can you tell me about the expected date for starting of online application process in AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) for B Sc Nursing program 2016 as I want to apply for the course this time?

The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education in India. These institutes have been declared by Act of Parliament as institutions of national importance.

AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam, an entrance test for those seeking specialization in Nursing.

Notification Important Dates (Tentative)

Application Form 1st week of April 2016

Entrance exam 2nd week of June 2016

Result notification 3rd week of June 2016

1st round counseling July 2016

2nd round counseling August 2016

Open counseling September 2016

Courses:
At present, the nursing entrance exam evaluates students for two different nursing courses.
 The B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) course.
 The B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing course

AIIMS Eligibility Criteria B Sc Nursing

• One must be qualified from the recognized board of India
• One need to have minimum aggregate marks of 55% in the 10th and 12th standard of general category and 50% marks for other categories.
• One’s age limit must be 17 years

Selection process:
The applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written exam and personal interview.

AIIMS Nursing Exam Pattern

• For B Sc (Hons) nursing the questions will be asked from the subjects of Maths, Physics, Chemistry and general knowledge out of 100 marks and the examination duration is 2 hours.
• For B Sc Nursing (Post certificate) admission there is two stages of selection which is written and interview process.

Application Fees:
 One who belongs to Gen/OBC category those have to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fees.
 One who belongs to SC/ST category those have to pay Rs. 800/- as application fees.
