Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board National Eligibility Test ASRB NET is conducted twice in a year for determining eligibility for Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). ASRB NET Exam Eligibility Candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject Age A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years Nationality: A candidate must be either: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. ASRB NET Pattern ASRB NET will be one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice questions to be solved in 2 (Two) Hrs. Each question carries One mark. These 150 questions shall be derived from the respective discipline in which the candidate has opted to appear. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the NET examination. Application fee – 1 Unreserved (UR) 1000/- 2 Other Backward Class (OBC) 500/- 3 Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Disability (PwD)/ Women 250/- |
