After 12 Commerce Eligible To Join Army

After 12th commerce you can join Indian army in following two ways.

NDA entry scheme and TES entry scheme.

You can appear in NDA & Na examination organized by UPSC.

Tech Entry Scheme(TES)
Age at the time of joining - 16 and 1/2 to 19 and 1/2 years
Month of Commencement of Course each year - January and July
Educational Qualification - 10+2 Pass with 70% aggregate in PCM.

National Defence Academy(NDA):-
Age at the time of joining - 16 and 1/2 to 19 years
Month of Commencement of Course each year - January and July
Educational Qualification - Class 12 of the 10+2 system of education or equivalent

Mode of selection - NDA exam by UPSC and SSB interview

Yes definitely you are eligible to join the Indian Army as you have commerce In 10+2.

To join Indian Army applicants have to appear in NDA exam .

NDA means National Defence Academy is your first step to enter Indian Army .

The eligibility for NDA is :

1] Eduacational Qualification : 10+2

2] Nationality : Indian

Applicants has to be 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline .

Mariatal Status : Unmarried male

Age : 16 1/2 to 19 years

Selection Procedure:

1.Written test,

2. SSB interview,

3. Medical test.

1.Written test:

There is a written test consisting of two papers.

Paper I: It consists of all the mathematics which we studied in +1 and +2 standard.

Paper II: It contains questions from English as well as current affairs.

2. SSB interview:
After clearing the written test, applicants undergoes SSB interview which takes place for almost 5 days.

3. Medical test:

After clearing both of the above hurdles, a medical examination of the applicants is done for checking applicants eyesight etc.

No, you cannot join Indian Army after completing 12th with Commerce through NDA (National Defense Academy) as one needs to have Physics and Mathematics in 12th. But you can join through CDS or Combined Defense Services.

NDA (National Defense Academy) Eligibility after 12th

Class 12/intermediate/10+2/ HSC from a recognized board in India with subjects of Physics and Mathematics

Candidates aged between 16 ½ and 19 ½ years of age as on first day of the month in which the course is to commence.

Combined Defense Services Eligibility after 12th

Through IMA and Officer's Training Academy you can join Combined Defense Services or CDS as Degree from a recognized university or equivalent is required for that.

Indian Maritime Academy (IMA) :- Unmarried Male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years are eligible to apply.

For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men):- Unmarried/Married Male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years of age are eligible to apply.

For Officers Training Academy [SSC Course for Women (Non-Technical)]:- Unmarried/Issueless Widows/Issueless Divorcees aged between 18 and 22 years of age are eligible to apply.
