Here you are looking for detail of entrance exam from Armed Forces Medical College. As you want here I am providing you. Eligibility: A candidate should be a citizen of India. Must be unmarried, Marrying during the course is not permitted. Should be medically fit as per prescribed standards by the Govt. of India, Defence Ministry. Must have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st Dec of the year of application, but must not have attained the age of 22 years on that date. Academic Qualifications: Candidate must have passed in the first attempt of the qualifying examinations as a regular candidate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these three subjects and not less than 50% marks in English .The candidates have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard. Number of Seats: Total 130 candidates 105 Boys and 25 girls will be selected along with 10 candidates from ST/SC Category. Pattern of Exam: AFMC-MBBS entrance is a single-stage test followed by an interview. The competitive written examination will be of 2 hours duration and will have one paper of 200 objective type questions in the following subjects: - Subject Total Questions Physics 50 Chemistry 50 Biology (Zoology and Botany) 50 Intelligence, Logic and Reasoning 25 English Language and Comprehension 25 Each question would be of one mark and for each correct answer one mark will be credited. Wrong answers will have negative marks. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Use of calculator, cell phone not allowed. PDA and log tables are not permitted in the examination. |
