AFCAT Physical Test
Hello sir I am planning to give Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT so would you please tell me will I have to give Physical Test or not?

Indian Air Force (IAF) conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for eligible Men and Women for following courses: Courses: Flying Branch Technical Branch Ground Duty Branches: Hello friend as you are asking for the Physical Test so you will not have to give any Physical Test but Physical Standards will be required, which information I have given Below…. Eligibility Criteria Flying Branch --- Age must be in between 19 to 23 years Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (Indian) is relaxable upto 25 years Must be Graduates (minimum 3 years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or B.E./B.Tech degree (4 year course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together Technical Branch -- Age must be in between 18 to 28 years Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) AE (L)---- Must have minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized university or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate membership examination of the institute of electronics and telecommunication engineers by actual studies Should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) AE (M) Must have minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized university or cleared Section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies Should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together Ground Duty Branch --- Age: For Graduate: Age must be in between 20 to 23 years For Post Graduate/LLB (Five years integrated course): Age must be in between 20 to 25 years For LLB (Three years course after Graduation): Age must be in between 20 to 26 years M.Ed/Ph.D/CA/ICWA Age limit: Age must be in between 20 to 27 years Physical Standards Physical Standard for For Men: Flying Branch Height and Weight: Minimum height : 162.5 cms with correlated weight, Leg Length : Min – 99 cms. Max – 120 cms.Thigh Length : Max – 64 cms.Sitting Height : Min – 81.5 cms.Max – 96 cms. Vision: Minimum Visual Acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 only for hypermetropia. Technical and Ground Duty Branch Height and Weight: Minimum height :- Men – 157.5 Cms with correlated weight. Physical Standard for For Women Flying Branch Height and Weight: Minimum height : 162.5 cms with correlated weight, Leg Length : Min – 99 cms. Max – 120 cms.Thigh Length : Max – 64 cms.Sitting Height : Min – 81.5 cms.Max – 96 cms. Vision: Minimum Visual Acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 only for hypermetropia.
