Indian Air Force came into existence in the year 2011 conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for students to recruit them to Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Officer Branches. Graduates in all streams including B.Tech, B.Sc, B.E, M.Com, CA, ICWA are eligible to apply for AFCAT Contact Details : Officers Selection Publicity Cell, Air Headquarters DISHA Motilal Nehru Marg New Delhi - 110 106 Tele: 011 - 23010231 Extn - 7080 011 - 23013690 (Direct) Telefax: 011-23017918 AFCAT Pattern:- •The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. • for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. For every correct answer you will get three marks •The total time allotted for the paper is two hours. All applicants whose online applications have been successfully submitted will be called for AFCAT and EKT (applicable for technical branch). EKT would be for 45 minutes and conducted immediately after AFCAT. Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of AFCAT will be called for further testing at one of the AFSBs at Mysore, Dehradun, Gandhinagar or Varanasi. The testing would consist of three stages as given below. (a) Stage-I Test consisting of Intelligence Test along with other tests will be conducted on the first day. (b) Stage-II testing consisting of Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview will be conducted on subsequent days (c) For Flying Branch: Pilot Aptitude Battery Test would be administered to eligible applicants . |
